Family Visits

Mail

Students are allowed to exchange letters and packages with family members as approved by placing agency and NSI Academy. Although we usually do not screen a student’s mail from family members, we do ask the student to open mail in the presence of a staff member. Again, this team approach is done for the safety of our students and the same reasons that we monitor phone calls.
