“Where Students Learn to Lead and Excel”
Normative Services Inc. (NSI), a Sequel Youth Services program, sits on 300 acres nestled at the base of Wyoming’s Big Horn Mountains just outside Sheridan, WY. NSI offers an array of services for today’s at-risk, adjudicated, and emotionally disturbed youth while providing high quality academic, physical, and vocational education in a safe and nurturing environment. NSI is a co-ed Joint Commission-accredited treatment and educational facility. NSI focuses on the therapeutic intervention and redirection of negative behavior while recognizing desired, positive behavior. Throughout a student’s stay, he or she is challenged to analyze failures and experience success in nearly every area of life.
Normative Services Mission Statement
NSI’s mission is to facilitate positive and lasting behavioral changes with a student population of high-risk adolescents, helping them to learn to live safely and productively outside the structure of the residential care setting. Staff, students, and families work together to ensure a positive normative culture as our primary therapeutic tool to promote norms of physical and emotional safety, mutual respect, confrontation of inappropriate behavior, and commitment to group and individual goals.
