


With economic trends placing pressure on families, we’ve seen an increase in substance abuse among juveniles. As a result, we’ve modified our existing substance abuse program to also assist with short-term recovery. The 90 day program focuses on giving the student a chance to explore the physiological, psychological and sociological aspects of addiction as well as teach the student both new coping skills and alternative lifestyle choices to substance abuse.

NSI, in March, had the privilege of hosting Wyoming Gubernatorial Candidate Matt Mead and Superintendent of Public Instruction Jim McBride on campus. Interaction among our staff and students and community and state leaders is critical to the development of our school, and the support gives our students and staff a real sense of pride. NSI works hard to provide our students with the tools necessary to change the trajectory of their life so that they, too, can have the success they deserve. And, in Wyoming, we are fortunate to have our state leadership engaged and interested in their progress.
