A note from Carolyn Willandt, NSI Academy's New Executive Director

I have had nothing but great experiences at NSI Academy. Shortly after arriving, I was fortunate and grateful to meet with Governor Mead and the Sheridan delegation. It is clear they are invested in the future of the kids we serve, as well as the future of Wyoming's residents.

For over 20 years, I have worked with adolescents - kids no different than the ones we serve at NSI Academy - in both residential and psychiatric settings. I have been, and will continue to be, committed to helping kids make better futures. We all know we can't change their pasts, but we can help them make better choices, with better options and, hopefully, with better outcomes.

At NSI Academy, we have a lot to offer our students. I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue to build upon successful practices and programs to ensure that we're serving our kids to the best of our ability. I plan to do all that I can, to help the students and staff at NSI work towards positive futures- to impact not only Wyoming, but the surrounding states that we work with so closely.
